Alberta Center for Sustainable Rural Communities
This is a strategic partnership between Augustana Faculty and the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. It fills the gaps of research and policy in rural areas through many different ways.

Technology Enhanced Knowledge Research Institute  (Tekri)
Tekri promotes research and the development of technologies that enhance the advancement, application and transfer of human knowledge and promotes the growth of a community of researchers.

B.C.-Alberta Social Economy Research Alliance (BALTA)
BALTA is a regional research collaboration amongst community based organizations, universities, and colleges in Alberta and British Columbia with an interest in the social economy. Its mandate involves researching various aspects of the social economy with a view to both increasing knowledge about the sector and identifying ways to strengthen and expand the sector.

Brandon University’s Rural Development Institute (RDI)
RDI is a centre for excellence in rural development. It helps strengthen rural and northern communities through research and information on issues unique to these areas.

Canadian Rural Research Network (CRRN)
CRRN supports research, sharing, and networking among stakeholders who are interested in rural research.

Research Shop
This website serves as a portal between resources at the University of Guelph and the research interests and needs of communities.
