Alberta Centre for Child, Family and Community Research

The Alberta Centre for Child, Family and Community Research (The Centre) has evolved over its eight year history as a public-sector, innovative resource for evidence. The Centre develops, supports and integrates research across sectors and disciplines to provide a strong, evidence-based foundation for identifying and promoting effective public policy and service delivery to improve the well-being of children, families, and communities in Alberta, Canada, and internationally.

Alberta Human Services - Child and Youth

Under the direction of the Minister, Human Services offers a range of programs and services for children and families. We support families and communities, helping them to provide nurturing, safe environments for their children. We strive to break the cycles of family violence, abuse and poverty that prevent some children from becoming strong, sound individuals.
