This web portal was designed by the Heritage Community Foundation to bring Alberta to the world and the world to Alberta. The digital resource consits of over 80 websites and it makes learning about the historical, natural, cultural, scientific, and technological heritage of Alberta fun. The website includes the history of Alberta, a calendar of events, and questions and answers.

There are community development and planning educational opportunities in Alberta. Universities and Colleges offer programs and courses that give students the tools they need to improve the social, political, and economic welfare of people and communities and the structures that support them. Canadian-Universities.net is a website where individuals can go to learn more about the available opportunities and the institutions that offer them. It also offers other information about Alberta and Canada’s post-secondary institutions.

The Community Development Institute at University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) is pleased to extend its information sharing and knowledge mobilization tools. Sharing information and supporting educational outreach are two of the cornerstones of UNBC’s work.
