Farm Master Facilitator
The FarmOn Foundation is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Farm Master Facilitator. Farm Masters is an online community of social learning geared towards serving the needs of young farmers, equipping them with the tools, knowledge and skills needed to ensure business success.
The Facilitator provides one-on-one, online support to new, existing and expanding farming or agri-businesses owners/operators. Applicants must, above all, have a passion for helping others succeed and be able to work comfortably with electronic media. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong rural business background. Networking/interpersonal skills, a grasp of social media, resourcefulness, energy, compassion, and self-motivation are a must. Experience working within an online community will be a valuable asset. 12-months of training and mentoring will be provided. Position can operate from any location in the Province of Alberta.
Closing date for the position is January 31, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. The applicant must submit an introductory letter and resume, including references. All applications must be received no later than the closing date.
