A new partnership between NorQuest College and the Landmark Group of Builders aims to improve workplace processes and increase the bottom line for Alberta business and industry.

The NorQuest College Centre officially launched today with a ceremony at Landmark Building Solutions.

“The new Landmark Group Centre for Value Improvement will deliver the training, tools and methods that empower Alberta businesses to maximize productivity and profitability,” says Dr. Jodi Abbott, President and CEO, NorQuest College. “This is critical to help Alberta organizations build the skills needed to be successful in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.”

The Centre provides organizations the benefit of applied, practical experience based on the process improvement strategies that have been successfully integrated at NorQuest College and at the Landmark Group of Builders.

“We have seen firsthand the benefits of process improvement programs,” says Reza Nasseri, CEO, Landmark Group of Builders. “Building on established lean manufacturing principles, the Landmark Group Centre for Value Improvement will deliver proven, practical solutions for the workplace.”

The Landmark Group of Builders is contributing $500,000 to create and support operations of the Centre over the next five years.

“Combining Landmark’s practical experience with NorQuest’s hands-on training will help us create workplace productivity solutions for Alberta and beyond,” says Abbott.
