The Alberta Community and Co-operative Association would like to invite you to spend eight exciting days of intensive co-op study and travel in the United Kingdom!

The United Kingdom Co-operative Study Tour  2014
April 4th-12th, 2014

The ACCA is organizing a study tour to the United Kingdom hosted in part by Peter Couchman from the Plunkett Foundation.

This study tour is for a group of no more than 25 people, and focuses on learning about the co-operative sector in the UK. As a participant you will meet with important individuals (both political and professional) who continually impact the field, as well as attend seminars and workshops on co-op innovation and learn about the Plunkett Foundation co-operative development process. You  will also visit successful co-ops and learn about their operations while touring beautiful cities across the UK.
Highlights include:
•    Visit the Co-operative Enterprise Hub
•    Meetings with Lord Glasman and a tour of the British House of Lords
•    Meetings with the community owned football club, FC United of Manchester
You will also visit Oxford, Manchester, London, and more!
