Rural Communities Supported by Alberta Government

Bookmark and Share

The Rural Community Adaptation Grant program of the Government of Alberta is in its final year of implementation. Throughout the life of this program, approximately $2.3 million in funding has been provided. This money has gone to projects that focus on innovation, economic expansion and local entrepreneurship in rural communities.

The projects that have been supported by this program include: outreach services for rural businesses, the creation of an online community calendar, leadership capacity-building, development and implementation of economic strategies, the creation of a baseball academy, and an assessment of a dinosaur museum.

A description of all the approved projects is available by clicking here.
